Tucked along Norris Lake, this hidden gem is ideal for a quiet, lakeside stay. It's managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and boasts wooded sites, clean facilities, and access to fishing, kayaking, and scenic trails.

Why it’s great: Low-key, peaceful, and perfect for nature lovers wanting to unplug.

4. Sun Outdoors Pigeon Forge – Sevierville, TN

This family-friendly resort brings the best of resort-style camping, think swimming pools, splash pads, mini-golf, and a massive playground,  all within minutes of Pigeon Forge attractions like Dollywood and The Island.

Why it’s great: Great for kids, with high-end amenities and lots of local entertainment.

5. Grand Design RV Owners Rally – Sevierville, TN

Special Event! May 1–3, 2025

We’ll be there, will you? The Grand Design Owners Rally is more than a campsite, it’s a celebration of RV life, community, and travel. Held at the Sevier County Fairgrounds, it features workshops, giveaways, networking, and vendor booths (including ours).

Why it’s great: Fun, friendly RV community + industry insights + good eats.

6. True West Campground, Stables & Mercantile – Jamestown, TN

If horseback riding is your thing, this is your spot. Located near Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, True West blends equestrian camping with traditional RV hookups. There’s also an on-site store and social pavilion.

Why it’s great: Horse lovers' paradise with access to 180+ miles of trails.

7. Crossing Creeks Farm – Spring Hill, TN

A peaceful, family-run farm with a few well-maintained RV spots, Crossing Creeks offers a unique blend of glamping and farm life. Kids love feeding animals, and adults love the quiet countryside.

8. Cades Cove Campground – Townsend, TN
